മനുഷ്യത്വം : Video Script Prepared by BEd Social Science Team- 2022-2024

Our short film, *മനുഷ്യത്വം* (Humanity), is a collaborative effort by B.Ed trainees from the Social Science Optional group at BNV College of Teacher Education, Thiruvallam, as part of our 3rd semester curriculum. This project allowed us to creatively explore and express key themes in social science, highlighting the essence of humanity and compassion. Every aspect of the film, from scriptwriting to production, was handled by our team, ensuring it is a reflection of our dedication and shared vision. We hope this film inspires viewers to reflect on the importance of empathy in our society. Your feedback and support would be greatly appreciated!

 Holistic development of an individual has been recognized as a multidimensional approach that emphasizes the overall growth of people. It encompasses emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development. Holistic growth nurtures a person's overall wellbeing, enabling them to thrive and find meaning and purpose in life. Moreover, holistic development emphasizes that an individual is not merely an accumulation of their skills and knowledge but a complex being who is shaped by their experiences, environment and culture. These individuals work day-to-day with students and are often the first to notice warning signs of struggles or difficulties. They play a crucial role in referring students to a guidance counsellor and supporting the work of the counsellor through their interactions with students. Educators also have a responsibility to engage in ongoing professional development to enhance their capacity to support student mental health and wellbeing.
